The Online Marketing in Galway (OMiG) Committee hosted their Summer BBQ recently in O’Connell’s bar, Galway to support Breast Cancer Research.
The night was a mixture of networking and plenty of entertainment, including music demonstrations from Anam Ceol and friends, along with an extraordinary performance from Magician Phil Trill. The Galway 2020 team were also in attendance on the night to chat about their bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2020.
Proceeds from tickets sales went directly to Breast Cancer Research, along with money raised from a fundraising raffle. Almost €400 was raised and we are so grateful to everyone who supported.
The OMIG team also took their #1in10 selfie to support the Breast Cancer Research 1 in 10 Campaign.
The campaign aims to raise breast cancer awareness and to support the research that can impact future outcomes for breast cancer.
We are asking you to please support our campaign too, by:
- Sharing a photo of you with 1 (or more) of the 10 girls who impact your life
- Nominating three of your friends to do the same and
- Texting IMPACT to 50300 to donate €4 to Breast Cancer Research
100% of text cost goes to Breast Cancer Research across most network providers. Some providers apply VAT which means that a minimum of €3.26 will go to Breast Cancer Research.
