We have a limited number of places for our ‘Croatia Walking Challenge’ which takes place 23rd – 30th April 2017. If you or any of your friends are interest in this exciting trip please contact us without delay.

We spend our first four nights on the beautiful island of Mljet where we will have three of our walks- Thought by many to be the most beautiful island of the Adriatic, Mljet boasts National Park with two large turquoise lakes surrounded by beautiful woodlands. ‘The Times’ magazine places the Island of Mljet among the ten most beautiful islands of the world. For those who are nature lovers and recreation enthusiasts, Mljet is an ideal place to spend their holiday.

Our final three nights will be in Cavtat Village from where we will complete our last two walks – Only 20 km south of Dubrovnik, the delightful Cavtat is a serene harbour village set in a picturesque bay. Cavtat has remarkable medieval character and offers distinctive and rich opportunities to visit art galleries and bookshops, but most importantly to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds this village. The harbour of Cavtat is a cluster of cafes and bars where you can sit and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere or perhaps take one of the numerous boat trips to Dubrovnik and the small islands which lie just off the coast.

We are delighted to announce that our trip to Croatia will be coordinated and supervised by Joe Duffy. A familiar face to many of our fundraisers, over the last 20 years Joe has safely brought hundreds of our supporters to the four corners of the globe. Joe’s experience is invaluable and we are very grateful he has agreed to lead this year’s trip.

The total fundraising target is €2,950 a deposit of €300 is required to secure your place.

The closing date to book your place is Friday 20th January, so don’t delay.
