Celebrated Irish scarf designer Ciara Silke, renowned for her beautiful collections of silk scarf has launched a week long initiative in support of Breast Cancer Research running from March 4th to March 11th to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8th and Mother’s Day on March 11th.
Ciara will donate €100 from the online sale of each scarf in her collection featuring pinks and reds. These include some of her best selling scarves such as the flourishing garden in hot pink, white, peach and baby pink. Monies raised will go to Galway-based charity Breast Cancer Research who fund a comprehensive breast cancer research programme at the Lambe Institute for Translation Research , NUI Galway.
The NCAD graduate, whos design process mixes bold graphic imagery with lightweight luxury fabrics was recently shortlisted in the ‘Made’ category of the Irish Country Magazine Awards and designs from her collection have been featured in; The Irish Times, The Sunday Independent, The Business Post, The Irish Examiner, Tatler, Cara magazine, British Vogue and IMAGE Magazine.
