As part of October, breast cancer awareness month a special fundraising afternoon in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute will be held at the g Hotel on October 14th. The event entitled ‘Afternoon Tea, Jazz and Comedy at the g’ will feature music from Jazz singer, Michelle Lally accompanied by Pianist Colm Henry and Saxophonist Bertránd Huvé.

Lots of fun is sure to be had with plenty of celebrity guests in attendance, courtesy of the man of many voices, Aidan Tierney aka TIERNEY TALKS who recently appeared on RTE’s ‘Up For The Match’. Guests will be greeted with a sparkling reception sponsored by Diageo on arrival before enjoying many delicious treats from the creative culinary team at the g Hotel. Special raffles will be held throughout the afternoon with a prize for each table.

The charity is very grateful to main sponsor Tom Doyle Motors for helping to make the whole event possible. Proceeds will go to Galway-based charity the National Breast Cancer Research Institute who fund a comprehensive breast cancer research programme at the Lambe Institute for Translation Research, NUI Galway, headed up by Director of Research, Professor Michael Kerin.

To be part of the fun and help raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, tickets are €50 each and available by calling 091 863917 or emailing: hello@breastcancerresearch.ie
